Tween & Teen Education

Providing a safe and supportive environment to learn about puberty, menstruation, and female reproductive health

Empowering Adolescents with Essential Education

Positive health education and open communication about puberty and menstruation foster self-esteem and promote confident management of their changing bodies. Unfortunately, this critical education is often not taught comprehensively or is entirely absent in many schools, leaving young people without the vital information they need to thrive. Let’s work together to ensure every teen and tween has access to the health education they deserve!

Why Menstrual Cycle Education Matters

 Reduces Anxiety and Embarrassment

Knowing what to expect during puberty and menstruation can alleviate the fear of the unknown. Comprehensive education prepares tweens and teens for the physical and emotional changes that come with puberty. When young people understand how and why their bodies are changing, they are less likely to feel anxious or embarrassed about these natural processes.

✤ Promotes Body Confidence and Self-Esteem

Discussing puberty and the menstrual cycle in a positive light fosters a healthier self-image and greater self-assurance. This perspective makes them feel more confident and comfortable with their changing bodies.

Improves Health Outcomes

Early education on reproductive health can improve long-term outcomes by promoting healthy lifestyle habits and empowering young people to make informed health decisions. By understanding their menstrual cycle, they can better recognize what is normal and when to seek medical advice, leading to early detection of potential health issues.

Normalizes Menstruation

Our program actively works to break down the stigma and discomfort surrounding menstruation by promoting accurate information and open dialogue. This supportive environment empowers young people to embrace and discuss this natural, healthy aspect of life and seek support when needed. Furthermore, embracing menstruation helps promote gender equality and a sense of inclusion for all.
